Both Real Madrid and Valencia got one goal victories on Wednesday night's Champions League matches. Real Madrid struggled to beat Spartak Moscow 1-0, with Casillas saving the day in the first half. With Raúl and Morientes missing, Munitis and Guti played up front. The only goal came from Iván Helguera in the second half. Kily González got Valencia's only goal just before half time in their 0-1 victory over Heerenveen in Holland. Didier Deschamps was injured in the 9th minute and will be out for three weeks.
