Spain's Olympic team won through to a semi-final tie with the United States after defeating European Under 21 Champions Italy by 1-0. The only goal came five minutes from time by Gabri after taking a pass from his Barcelona team mate Xavi. The semi-final will be played next Tuesday morning.
