Friendly international

José Antonio Camacho named his squad for next Wednesday's friendly match with Mexico in Huelva, Spain's first game since qualifying for the World Cup finals. With five of his last squad injured (Cañizares, Manuel Pablo, Sergi, Albelda and Luis Enrique) , Xavi and Vicente picked to play for the under 21 side and Etxeberria out of favour, the manager called up Ricardo (Valladolid) and Curro Torres (Valencia) for their first caps, with Juanfran, Guardiola, Sergio and Munitis getting a recall. The full list is as follows:

Keepers: Casillas (Real Madrid), Ricardo (Valladolid)

Defenders: Téllez (Alavés), Puyol (Barcelona), Juanfran (Celta), Nadal (Mallorca), Hierro (Real Madrid), Aranzábal (Real Sociedad)
