Zaragoza put in another disappointing performance, only managing a 0-0 draw against Swiss side Servette. Having been eliminated from the Spanish cup a few days ago and heavily beaten in the league, Txetxu Rojo was not taking any chances and put out a strong side. However they did not even approach Pedat's goal in the first half, and were lucky not to be behind after Aguado deflected Oruma's shot against the post.

The home side did manage a brief flurry of activity just before half time, but after the break it was more of the same, with Esquerdinho clearing off the line from an active Frei. Finally Zaragoza got a chance, but Juanele shot into the side netting with the goal at his mercy, and Láinez had to save from Bah near the end. The home fans booed their players off the pitch at the end, and they will have to improve drastically if they are to pass the test in Geneva in a fortnight's time.
