The draw took place on 17 January, with the only remaining second division side Murcia paired with Deportivo. Ties played over two legs on or around 22nd and 29th January, with the first leg played at the ground of the first named team. Sevilla's first leg match was played at the Chapín stadium in Jerez as their stadium had been closed for four games by the disciplinary committee.
