Under 19 international squad

The warm up games are over and the Spanish under 19 squad fly out to Norway for the European championship. Iñaki Saez dropped four players from the group who were called up for pre-tournament training, Real Madrid's Alvaro and Recoba, Barcelona's Verdú and Sevilla's Vega, leaving a final squad of 18 as follows:

Keepers: Moyà (Mallorca), Riesgo (Real Sociedad) Defenders: Murillo (Athletic Bilbao), Peña (Barcelona), Solabarrieta (Basconia), Melli (Betis), Jarque (Espanyol).

Midfielders: Sergio Torres (Atlético Madrid), Iniesta (Barcelona), Carmelo (Las Palmas), Ceballos and Corominas (Espanyol), Pina (Zaragoza)

Forwards: Jonan García (Athletic Bilbao), Fernando Torres (Atlético Madrid), Sergio García (Barcelona), Reyes (Sevilla).

The youngsters kick off this Sunday against the Czech Republic in Moss, and go on to play hosts Norway and Slovakia over the next four days. Fixtures. (18.07.02)
