Under 17 international tournament

Spain's participation in the under 17 Meridian Cup was confirmed today. The competition takes place every two years between the four best sides of Europe and Africa respectively, and this season's edition will take place in Egypt from 25th January to 1st February. The teams taking part are as follows:

Europe: Spain, England, France and Switzerland.
Africa: Egypt (hosts), Nigeria, Mali and Burkina Faso. (22.10.02)
