Second division, day 33

Murcia are back on top after they beat Leganés 0-1 on Sunday lunchtime. Richi got the only goal at the start of the second half, taking them a point above Albacete, who came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 against fourth placed Levante thanks to a last minute strike from Simeón. It now looks like a four horse race again after fifth placed Xerez were held to a 1-1 draw by Racing Ferrol, who also scored in the last minute of the game.

Ferrol were the only one of the bottom five sides to pick up a point. As well as Leganés, Oviedo were beaten 4-2 by Numancia, Badajoz threw away a one goal lead to lose 1-2 against Getafe, and Almería were defeated 2-0 by Eibar. Elsewhere Elche returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Compostela. (27.04.03)

Goals by Galletti and substitute Yordi at the beginning and end of their game at Terrassa was enough to see Zaragoza win 0-2 and keep up the pressure on the top two. Mixed fortunes for the Canary Island clubs, with Tenerife losing 2-1 at Sporting and Las Palmas beating nine man Salamanca by the same result later in the evening. A 2-1 scoreline in the Andalucian derby as well, with Poli Ejido winning against Córdoba to end their recent bad run. (26.04.03)
