Second division, day 35

Murcia moved back up to top spot with a 0-1 win at Poli Ejido, Tito getting the only goal before the break. Zaragoza stay in third place after drawing 2-2 at Numancia, and keep their five point gap over fourth placed Levante after they drew 1-1 at Salamanca.

Leganés climbed out of the bottom four after a 1-0 win over Ferrol, and they are replaced by Almería, who lost 4-3 in an exciting match at Badajoz. Elche and Getafe moved away from the drop zone after drawing 1-1, and Terrassa put an end to their recent bad run with a 1-0 win over Eibar. There are still only six points though between seventh and nineteenth places. (11.05.03)

Albacete took another step towards the first division with a 1-0 win over Tenerife. The only goal came from the penalty spot, Jandro converting the kick in the second half. Xerez kept up their challenge, and caught up with fourth placed Levante after beating Oviedo 4-1. Compostela moved up to the top half of the table after beating Sporting 1-3, and Córdoba also moved further away from the drop zone with a 0-1 victory at Las Palmas. (10.05.03)
