Vila Real, Portugal. Spain finished top of their group after drawing 2-2 with England. Juan Santiesteban's side raced into the lead with two goals in the first half, Xisco Nadal giving them the lead early on after Cases had hit the bar and Jurado running through to shoot low past Martin later in the half. However England came back with two quick goals in the second half, Steven Taylor heading home the first past a shaky Adán and Milner adding a second, also with a header on the far post from Ifil's cross. The scoreline meant that both qualified for the semi-finals, and the last few minutes were played out without either side risking too much. Spain go on to play Austria midweek, with England taking on hosts Portugal in the other semi-final.
