Under 17 World Cup

Spain 3 - Korean Republic 2

Spain came back from two goals down to win this match and keep alive their hopes of reaching the quarter finals. Juan Santiesteban's side had dominated the first half, but they found themselves behind when Yang ran on to a through ball to beat Adan on the stroke of half time. And they appeared to be down and out when Sergio Sánchez deflected the ball past his own keeper for South Korea's second goal midway through the second half. But a ten minute hat-trick from substitute Silva changed the scoreline around, and Spain now have a chance to top group D if they can beat group leaders United States side next Wednesday. (17.08.03)
