Spain completed the formality in the last game of the group stage of the European under 21 competition, beating Armenia 0-2 to finish seven points clear at the top of the table. With the side already sure of first place, joint managers Santiesteban and Ufarte used the occasion to try out some of their reserve players and rest their stars for the next stage. And although it was hard work against determined opponents, goals in the second half from Rubén Castro and Arriaga gave them the three points. (10.10.03)
