Spain are through to the last eight of the youth world cup with a 1-0 win over Paraguay. Armando Ufarte's boys were on top for most of the game, and took the lead when Barcelona's Sergio García picked up a pass from Juanfran to beat Silva midway through the second half. The South Americans finished strongly though, and keeper Riesgo had to be at his best to keep them out in the dying minutes. The youngsters will play Canada in the quarter finals in Abu Dhabi next Friday. (09.12.03)
