Spain's new generation started with a victory against Norway in this friendly international, which was played in the Nova Creu Alta stadium in Sabadell. The youngsters took control from the start, and went in front on the half hour mark when Iniesta was brought down by Engeldal in the area, the attacking midfielder converting the spot kick himself. And Sergio García got the second just before the break after Larsen mis-kicked a clearance straight at him, the striker lobbing the ball back over the unfortunate keeper's head. Riise pulled one back for the Scandinavians two minutes after the restart, but after that neither side really troubled the opposing keeper. (17.02.04)
