Under 17 international squad

Arsenal's Cesc has been named in Spain's under 17 squad for the upcoming European qualifiers, which take place on the South coast of the country during the last week of this month. The full squad is as follows:

César (Albacete), Cesc (Arsenal), Benat and Mandaluniz (Athletic Bilbao), Regalón and Mario (Atlético Madrid), Piqué (Barcelona), Cristián (Espanyol), Carmona and Dani (Mallorca), Adan and Javi García (Real Madrid), Agirretxe (Real Sociedad), Diego (Sevilla), Pepe and Lombán (Valencia), Marcos and Pereira (Villarreal).

Spain have been drawn in group one, and will play the Czech Republic in Los Barrios on 27th March, Russia in Algeciras on the 29th and Hungary in Los Barrios on the 31st. The seven group winners will go on to the finals, which will take place in France from 4th to 15th May. (16.03.04)
