Spain's under 17 side stormed through to the European finals with a resounding victory over Hungary. Vying with Russia for top spot in their group, Juan Santiestaban's side needed a big win to ensure their passage to France in May. But by half time it was not looking good, Pepe's goal being cancelled out by a strike by Rezes just before the break. However Real Madrid forward Javi García came on as substitute and scored twice n the first ten minutes after the restart, and Arsenal's Cesc added a fourth from the penalty spot three minutes later. And Carmona and Capel got two more later on to round off an excellent night for the Spaniards. (31.03.04)
