Under 19 Championship

No sooner than the under 17 European championship ended, the under 19 version begins. Spain will host the Group 1 qualifying round this week, hoping to win through to the finals which are to take place in Switzerland from 13th to 24th July. Spain's opponents will be Lithuania, Holland and Hungary, and matches will take place at Onda and Burriana in the province of Castellón, close to Valencia. The management team have called up a group of 18 players for the tournament. (18.05.04)
