Real Madrid had no problems beating Wisla Krakow 3-1, finishing off the work done two weeks ago when they won the first leg by 0-2. Camacho was not taking any chances and put out a full strength line up, and Ronaldo gave them the lead as early as the third minute from Figo's cross. After that the home side put on an exhibition of football, and Ronaldo added a second on the half hour mark after Salgado set him up. A good performance by Majdan though meant there were no more goals until five minutes from the end, when Pavón headed home a late corner to make it three. Gorawski got a consolation goal for the Polish side in the last minute, which the 800 or so visiting supporters celebrated as if they had won the match.
