A surprise in the second leg of the Spanish Supercup, with unfavoured Zaragoza recovering from their first leg home defeat to beat Valencia 1-3. Víctor Muñoz's side raced into a two goal lead with strikes from Alvaro and Galletti within the first half hour, and although Corradi pulled one back after the break, Javi Moreno put the result beyond doubt with a late headed goal.
