Champions' League, third qualifying round, second leg

Spain will have four sides in tomorrow's Champions League draw after Real Madrid and Deportivo La Coruña both won through their qualifying round ties. Real Madrid had no problems beating Wisla Krakow 3-1, with Ronaldo giving them the lead as early as the third minute from Figo's cross and adding a second on the half hour mark after Salgado set him up. Pavón headed home a late corner to make it three, and Gorawski got a consolation goal in the last minute. (25.08.04)

Deportivo La Coruña are also through to the league stage of the Champions League after a 3-0 win over Shelbourne, although they suffered more than expected before finally winning through. All three goals came in the second half, with Víctor celebrating his return to the international squad with two impressive goals in the first quarter of an hour after the restart. Pandiani made it three with a late free kick, taking his relieved side through to next Thursday's draw. (24.08.04)
