Under 21 international

Bosnia 0 - Spain 2

Two goals in the second half were enough for Spain to beat Bosnia in their opening qualifying group game for the under 21 Euro 2006 tournament. The youngsters could have gone ahead shortly before half time when Sergio García won a penalty, but Baotic saved García's spot kick. And the local keeper was in action two minutes after the restart when he somehow kept out a looping effort from Iniesta. However Cesc Fábregas set up Sergio García midway through the second half for him to open the scoring, and Jesús Navas got a second goal in the final minute to round off the final scoreline.
