With only a couple of weeks to go before the end of the season, the transfer roadshow is in full swing. As always clubs will be getting their new managers on board first, with Irureta (Deportivo), López (Valencia) and Ferrando (Atlético) just three who are expected to be replaced, as well as Athletic's Valverde, who says he is not going to continue at the San Mamés stadium. Luxemburgo seems to have done enough late on to be given a chance again next season though, and he and Sacchi are currently scouting the market for new faces, with Robinho, Emerson and (if they can outbid other pretenders) Sergio Ramos the current favourites.
League champions Barcelona won't be spending too much this summer, but Van Bommel and Ezquerro are both close to signing on the dotted line. Deportivo and Atlético Madrid are expected to make several changes though after a disappointing season for both, although they have to let players go first to raise funds. Meanwhile the exodus to England is expected to continue, with Chelsea reportedly putting in a 14 million bid for Del Horno and Reina all but certain to move to Liverpool.
