Second division B play-off finals, second leg

Real Madrid B also made it up after eight years despite losing their second leg game 0-1 to Conquense. A second division B record 57,326 crowd turned up to watch the "Pavones" defend their two goal lead from the first leg, although they struggled in the end and the visitors had a goal disallowed late on. There was a surprise though in the fourth game of the weekend, Lorca overcoming a 1-2 result from the first leg to beat Real Unión 1-3 in Irún and return to the second division for only the second season in their history. Hércules returned to the second division after a six year absence after drawing 1-1 against Alcalá. The Alicante based side were defending a 1-3 lead from the first leg, and went further in front when Nano scored shortly after the break. Izquierdo equalised later on for the visitors, but too late to influence the result. The other three finals will take place tomorrow. (25.06.05)
