Two goals in the second half were enough for Spain to beat Bosnia in their opening qualifying group game for the under 21 Euro 2006 tournament. The youngsters could have gone ahead shortly before half time when Sergio García won a penalty, but Baotic saved García's spot kick. And the local keeper was in action two minutes after the restart when he somehow kept out a looping effort from Iniesta.

Iñaki Sáez made a double change though ten minutes in to the second half, bringing on Cesc Fábregas and Jesús Navas, and it was Cesc who set up Sergio García ten minutes later for him to open the scoring. Navas got a second goal in the final minute from Sergio García's pass to round off the final scoreline.
