Pre season matches

The last of the summer tournaments took place this week, with as usual Real Madrid and Barcelona hosting the final matches. Madrid took on an MSL Allstars side from the United States in their Santiago Bernabeu trophy, running out 5-0 winners thanks to two from Ronaldo and strikes from Beckham, Guti and Raúl. Barça however lost their Gamper cup to Juventus on a penalty shoot out after drawing 2-2, Iniesta and Van Bronckhorst getting the goals for the Catalans in a game in which the 18 year old Argentine midfielder Leo Messi was the man of the match.
