UEFA Cup, quarter finals, first leg

Sevilla 4 - Zenit St. Petersburg 1

Two late goals against Zenit gave Sevilla a big advantage for the second leg in Russia next week. The Andalusians went ahead on the quarter hour mark when Saviola headed home Adriano's cross, but Kerzhakov levelled the scores on the stroke of half time. Martí restored the lead from the penalty spot ten minutes in to the second half though after Hagen was sent off for a foul on Kanouté, and Saviola got his second of the night eight minutes from the end. And after the visitors were left with nine men when Arshavin was also shown a red card, Adriano wrapped things up in injury time (30.03.06)
