UEFA Cup, quarter finals, second leg

Zenit St. Petersburg 1 - Sevilla 1

Sevilla are through to the semi-finals of the UEFA cup after a 5-2 aggregate win over Zenit. The Andalusians started the game with a three goal advantage from the first leg, but early in the second half the locals narrowed the gap with a strike from Hyun Young Min. Substitute Kepa equalised though soon afterwards after Daniel Alves set him up, and Juande Ramos's side could have gone ahead on the night had Malafeev not saved a penalty from Daniel Alves. Both teams ended with ten men after Kepa and Krizanec were sent off later in the second half. (06.04.06)
