Spanish World Cup squad

Luis Aragonés named his 23 man squad for the World Cup today, which was based on the 27 players he called up for a get together last week. The only surprise was the omission of Liverpool's Morientes, the coach opting for an extra defender Marchena instead. As expected, Javi Venta, Capdevila and Baraja were also left out. (15.05.06)
