First division, day 38

Athletic Bilbao came from behind to beat Barcelona 3-1 in the last match of the season. With many players already on World Cup duty, Frank Rijkaard was forced to put out a side packed with reserves. But even so they took the lead close to half time when Eto'o beat Lafuente with an angled shot, a goal which ensured the Cameroonian striker the Pichichi prize ahead of Valencia's David Villa. But strikes by Lafuente and Felipe after the break turned the scoreline around, and Oleguer turned Exteberría's cross past his own keeper near the end for the final scoreline. (20.05.06)
