Spain were knocked out of
the competition at the semi-final stage after losing 0-2 to the Czech Republic.
Juan Santiesteban's side were a shadow of their former selves in a match which
they were fancied to win against the group B runners up, and they went behind
on the half hour mark when Pekhart beat Sergio from outside of the area
following a corner. The youngsters were left with ten men when Rober was sent
off for a second bookable offence on the stroke of half time, and Vosahlik
wrapped things up with a chip over the keeper's head after a good run by Vacha.
