Spain reached the final once again after an epic semi-final against Belgium. Juan Santiesteban's team started well, with Isma shooting just wide and Ximo bringing a save out of Coppens, although De Egea did well to keep out Kis at the other end.

The youngsters appeared to be in trouble after Pichu was sent off early in the second half, and then Hazard put the hosts ahead on the hour mark after De Pauw set him up. But Bojan Krkic crashed a shot against the woodwork almost immediately, and a few minutes later levelled the scores with a dipping shot over the keeper.

The Belgians could have won it in extra time, Hazard shooting over and De Pauw and Maurizio Aquino having goals disallowed for offsides. But the game went to penalties, where Ander had a kick saved before Maurizio Aquino missed one for the opponents. De Egea finally saved from Daeseleire though to take them through to Sunday's final, where their rivals will be England.
