Tirana. Spain's under 21 side moved a step closer to the play-off stage after beating Albania 0-3. In the new look competition, the youngsters have to win through a triangular round with today's opponents and Slovakia, who drew 0-0 with Albania a couple of weeks ago. With a starting line up packed with La Liga first division players, Iñaki Saez's side were never under threat, and Valencia's David Silva gave them the lead shortly before half time. Sevilla's Kepa rounded off an excellent week with the second from the penalty spot after the restart, and Silva got his second of the night and his team's third a few minutes later. Spain play Slovakia next Tuesday in Alzira, and a draw will be enough to take them through.
