Osasuna got the points they wanted to make it through to the next round after beating Parma 0-3. Cuco Ziganda's side needed at least a draw against the Italians, who themselves were already sure of first place in their group. And Valdo, Milosevic and Soldado all went close before David López picked up a poor clearance from De Lucia and fired an angled shot back in off the far post.

Before half time López made it two, turning in Soldado's cross on the far post. And he could have had his hat-trick after the restart, the keeper saving his weak shot. Romeo also wasted another chance, but with eight minutes to go Juanfran got the third, turning the ball in from close range after De Lucia could only push out Valdo's shot. Ciarmitaro did finally test Ricardo with a header near the end, but by then it was all over and the Navarrans had their fifth win in a row.
