A good result for Osasuna in this first leg tie, a 0-0 scoreline at Bordeaux in front of some 7,000 visiting fans giving them a more than even chance of going through to the last sixteen. Webó had a couple of chances to test Ramé early on, but Ricardo had no problems keeping out Francia and Chamakh before the break. Substitute Soldado headed a Juanfran free kick wide late in the second half, but Ricardo made vital saves in the final minutes from Faubert and Obertan to keep the scoreline level. Everything will now be decided next week in the Reyno de Navarra stadium.
