Goals: 1-0. 30. Keko; 2-0. 46. Sergi Mut; 3-0. 62. Thiago (penalty); 4-0. 69. Manu. . Spain are the first country to win the European under 17 championships twice in a row after a convincing 4-0 win over France in this year's final. The two sides had drawn their group game, but this time Juan Santiesteban's side dominated right from the start, Mfa Mezui having to save early on from Sergi Mut before the excellent Keko opened the scoring from Thiago's cross on the half hour mark.

Keko went close again two minutes after the restart, and a couple of minutes later the Atlético Madrid midfielder slipped a ball through for Sergi to score the second. Thiago made it three from the penalty spot after Sielva was fouled by Fauré, and Manu headed the fourth from Keko's cross a few minutes later. A fitting end for the 71 year old Santiesteban's time in charge (if in fact he does retire as expected this summer), and the new generation of Spanish internationals are already following in the footsteps of Bojan and company.
