Atlético Madrid have an uphill battle ahead of them in Portugal after they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Porto. Abel Resino's side couldn't have got off to a better start when Maxi turned on Agüero's cross with only three minutes on the clock. But Lisandro had a goal disallowed for a borderline offside, and a few minutes later the striker levelled the scores after running on to a long ball to shoot wide of Leo Franco.

The local keeper had his work cut out after that to save from Lisandro and super-hero namesake Hulk, but with the first half coming to an end Forlán restored the lead with a long shot which Helton let slip through his hands in to the net. But once again Atlético were pushed back, Leo Franco and Pablo clearing dangerous efforts and Lisandro firing a sitter over the bar.

It was only a matter of time, and with twenty minutes to go Lisandro got his second of the night after getting on the end of Cissokho's cross to score. Atlético need something special in two weeks' time if they are to continue in the competition.
