Spanish under 21 squad

Spain's under 21 side will be playing an important European qualifier against Russia on 20th August, the same day as the full international side's friendly against Denmark. The match will take place in Moscow, and the following 18 players have been selected. Bojan Krkic and Diego Capel have been left out after playing the last match against Kazakhstan, although both may well feature in Vicente Del Bosque's plans for the World Cup qualifiers later this year. Spain's under 19 side will be playing in a four-way friendly tournament in Eire later this month, together with the hosts, Portugal and the Ukraine. The coaches have called up the following 18 players for the event. (04.08.08)
