Friendly international

Spain 3 - Chile 0

Twenty-eight and counting... Spain had no problems beating Chile in their friendly international at Villarreal's Madrigal stadium to keep up an unbeaten record which has lasted for two years. David Villa opened the scoring from the penalty spot shortly before half time after Riera was tripped by Tello in the area. And Fernando Torres came on after the break to pick up a pass from Xavi and cut past a defender to score his side's second. Riera made a great save from Suazo soon afterwards, but with five minutes to go local boy Cazorla made it three with a shot which took a deflection off a defender to wrong foot Bravo. (19.11.08)
