Spanish national squads

Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque has called up Villarreal keeper Diego López for the upcoming World Cup double header with Turkey. Otherwise though there are no surprises in a 22 man squad, the only absence the injured Puyol.

Spain's under 21 coach López Caro has decided to use this week's friendly games to call up two different squads, one for Friday's fixture against Eire to prepare for next season's European qualifiers, and one with older players for Tuesday night's match against Sweden, forming the basis for the squad for this summer's European finals which Sweden themselves are hosting. Midfielders: Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Xavi (Barcelona), Riera and Xabi Alonso (Liverpool), David Silva (Valencia), Cazorla and Marcos Senna (Villarreal);
Forwards: Llorente (Athletic Bilbao), Güiza (Fenerbahçe), Fernando Torres (Liverpool), David Villa (Valencia).

Forwards: Iván Bolado (Elche), Aaron Ñiguez (Glasgow Rangers), Jorge Galán (Osasuna), Miguel (Valencia).

PS Emilio N'Sue (Castellón) was called up to replace Jorge Galán.

Midfielders: Javi Martínez and Susaeta (Athletic Bilbao), Raúl García (Atlético Madrid), Granero (Getafe), Jurado (Mallorca), Javi García (Real Madrid), Diego Capel (Sevilla), Pedro León (Valladolid);
Forwards: Bojan (Barcelona), Jonathan Pereira (Racing Santander).

Mallorca's Mario Suárez pulled out, with Crespo the player drafted in to replace him.
