Atlético: Asenjo; Ujfalusi, Perea, Juanito, Domínguez; Jurado (Maxi 78'), Camacho, Cléber Santana, Simao (Antonio López 92'); Agüero, Diego Forlán (Reyes 86'). 4-4-2.

Goals:
1-0. 05. Mirosavljevic. Got on end of Alexandrou cross to score past Asenjo.
1-1. 61. Simao. Drove shot back in to net after Chiotis pushed out Agüero cross.

A lack-lustre performance by Atlético Madrid again, although a 1-1 draw at APOEL Nicosia should at least be enough to see them tie up a berth in the Europa League.

Quique Sánchez Flores's side got off to a bad start when ex-Cádiz striker "Mortadelo" Mirosavljevic turned in a cross from Alexandrou in the fifth minute.

And even with a strong attacking line-up they were only able to beat Chiotis once, Simao firing a shot back in to the net after the keeper pushed out Agüero's cross on the hour mark.

Maxi could have won it late on, but the point keeps them one above their opponents, and with the Cypriot side due to visit Chelsea in their last game Atlético are favourites to take the consolation prize.
