Latest transfers
Lots of rumours filling the papers during the winter break, but so far little real news on the transfer front. Zaragoza have moved to sign two players, ex-Málaga winger Eiiseu and Chilean striker Suazo joining on loan from Lazio and Monterrey respectively. And Atlético Madrid have signed ex Chelsea midfielder Tiago on loan from Juventus and Málaga have done likewise with Manchester City striker Caicedo. Most clubs though have decided to plug the gaps with B team players, even though several key men have temporarily left their clubs to play in the African Nations Cup. (09.01.10)
