12.05. Aloisi was rewarded for his saving goal last week with a place in the starting line up for the last game of the season against neighbours Alavés. He couldn't find his scoring boots this time as his team lost 0-1, but ended his first season in Spain as the team's top scorer with nine goals, not a bad haul.

05.05. Was the hero in the derby game at Bilbao, coming on as substitute early in the first half and scoring the equaliser in the last minute of the game. The point means Osasuna are safe from relegation for another season.

28.04. A vital 3-2 win over relegation rivals Las Palmas took Osasuna out of the bottom three. Aloisi was a tactical substitute, coming on in the last minute for Iván Rosado.

21.04. Didn't get a game at Valladolid, spending the whole 90 minutes on the bench even though his team were losing, and Osasuna drop into the relegation zone.

14.04. A great win for Osasuna against Real Madrid, although Aloisi was once again substitute. Came on for the last five minutes with his side 3-1 up.

07.04. Dropped again for the match at Betis, coming on for the last five minutes for Iván Rosado, who took his place in the starting line up. Match drawn 0-0.

31.03. Back in the side for the game against Málaga after scoring the week before. However his side lost 0-2 to move even closer to the relegation zone.

24.03. With his team struggling near the relegation zone, Aloisi was dropped for the first time since late October for the game at Valencia. Came on with half an hour to go for Iván Rosado and headed an equaliser five minutes from the end. However Valencia scraped a winner in injury time.

17.03. Scored an injury time penalty against Deportivo, his first goal in nine games. However only after Diego Tristán had hit a hat-trick.

10.03. Gave away a penalty in the first half at Mallorca, but helped Gancedo score the equalising goal in the second before Mallorca recovered to win. Once again substituted ten minutes from the end, this time by Sabino.

03.03. Started again in the local derby against Real Sociedad, and had a hand in his side's goal in the second half. Replaced by Armentano seven minutes from the end.

24.02. Played the full 90 minutes at Tenerife, but his side fell to their first defeat of 2002. Had a hand in his side's goal, playing the ball into the area for Alexis to head past his own keeper.

17.02. Set up the equalising goal for Sabino in the game against Espanyol. Substituted a quarter of an hour from the end by Armentano.

10.02. Played the full match in the Wednesday night scoreless draw at Sevilla, despite having five stitches put in a cut during the game. Caused some problems in the first half. Started the weekend game against Rayo which his team won 1-0, being replaced by Rivero near the end once they were in front.

03.02. Once again completed the game against Zaragoza, a boring 0-0 draw with virtually no goal chances.

27.01. Played all but the last minute of the match in the victory at Barcelona, setting up the only goal for Alfredo near the end.

20.01. Scored the opening goal with two minutes of kick off against Villarreal, and had another ruled out for a borderline offside two minutes later. Was a constant nightmare for the Villarreal defence, although in the end they drew 2-2. Replaced by Armentano six minutes from the end.

13.01. Started the game at Celta, being replaced by Armentano near the end as his manager used up time with the scores level.

06.01. The player was the innocent centre of the false guarantee scandal which exploded over the two week break. Apparently Coventry City had insisted on bank guarantees to cover his transfer, and Osasuna management falsified the guarantees when they were turned down by their bank. Coventry could insist on his return, although they have not done so for the time being. On the football front, played all but the last minute in their victory away against local rivals Alavés.

23.12. played the first 75 minutes in the local derby with Athletic Bilbao, which Osasuna lost 0-1. Was replaced by Iván Rosado soon after Bilbao scored.

16.12. Another start in the match at Las Palmas, being substituted by Sabino with an hour gone and his team winning. They drew 1-1 in the end.

09.12. Started the game against Valladolid, coming up against a superb Ricardo. His side won in the end though by a single Armentano goal.

02.12. Didn't get back in time to be included in the cup squad, which his team lost to Figueres. Returned to the side for the league match at Real Madrid, scoring with five minutes to go and almost snatching a point with a last minute effort which Casillas saved.

25.11. Stayed with the Australia squad, but didn't get a game in the end as they were knocked out by Uruguay.

18.11. Still with the Socceroos, training for the crucial double header against Uruguay.

11.11. On international duty for Australia's home friendly game against France, coming on in as substitute and unlucky not to win a penalty near the end.

04.11. Started again at Deportivo La Coruña and put his team ahead with an early goal after getting a return pass from Gancedo. Then the wheels fell off and Depor scored five.

28.10. Started his first match of the season against Mallorca and scored the opening goal in their four nil victory.

21.10. Non-playing substitute in the away game at Real Sociedad.

14.10. Cup tie postponed to 7th November, so no midweek match. Came on as substitute again in the game against Tenerife, hitting the bar in one incident and missing a sitter near the end.

07.10. Didn't get on the field in the game at Rayo. Came on as second half substitute at Espanyol midweek and got the equalising goal, following up after Argensó saved his penalty kick.

30.09. Substitute again in the home game against Sevilla, coming on for the last 20 minutes and getting the only goal of the match from a header. This was the first goal scored by an Osasuna player this season.

23.09. On the bench for the game against Barcelona, coming on for Lekumberri halfway through the second half. Didn't get on the field for the game at Zaragoza.

15.09. Came in with a reputation as a goalscorer, but will have to compete with Iván Rosado for the striker position. Made his debut in the opening game against Celta, coming on for the last twenty minutes with the game already lost. Didn't get on the park though in the defeat at Villarreal.
