The second division groupings are subject to change, depending on ratification at the RFEF general meeting in mid-July and possible relegation for financial reasons. All clubs need to be up to date with payment to players and have met the other financial obligations laid down by the governing bodies by midnight on 2nd August. (10.07.04) The only second division B team who were relegated for failing to clear their debts by the 2nd August deadline was Logroñés, who may decide as result to wind up the club. If they do decide to continue in the regional third division, they will be replaced in group II by Haro. If not, then either Oviedo, Eibar B or Tropezón will be promoted. Compostela and Yeclano were both already relegated after finishing in the bottom four of their 2B groups last season, and they will drop another division to the "Regional Preferente" leagues after they too failed to bring their payments up to date by the deadline. (04.08.04) Logroñés were bought up by a new owner and will continue in the regional third division. Club Haro Deportivo from the Rioja regional group will replace them in the second division B, group II. (12.08.04) Teams relegated from the second division A are marked in red, sides promoted from the regional third division are marked in green. Haro, marked in blue, replaced Logroñés as explained above. |
