When will the 08/09 season fixtures be published?

New season's fixtures are usually published in the second week of July after all the lower division play-offs have been played.

When will I know whether a match is played on Saturday or Sunday?

As a rule, all the matches in the first division are played on Sunday. They may bring some of them forward to Saturday if the match is to be televised on the national TV (La2), or if either team is playing in a midweek European competition the following week. Kick-off times are confirmed at the beginning of each week and are published on our 'Kick-off Times' page.

How can I purchase tickets for a Liga match?

In general, purchasing tickets from clubs more than a few days in advance is not possible in Spain. All the information we have is published on our 'Ticket Sales' page.

Is it safe to take children to watch a live match in Spain?

We are happy to report that the atmosphere at any Spanish football ground is very family friendly and alcohol induced brawling or violence is rarely seen. Let's help them keep it that way!
