Riki For Spanish Selection? There were some rumours of him being up for Spanish Selection, and also of him going to Liverpool. What has happened? I thought he was playing well enough.

Aragonés did go to watch him, but he didn't make the last squad or the larger get together afterwards. He is in the running though, and if he keeps up his current form he may well be given a trial run in one of Spain's pre-World Cup friendlies. Benítez was eyeing him up, but the latest to show an interest was ex Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz, who is apparently buying Italian club Parma. However something went badly wrong last week, and it looks like Sanz isn't going to take over. We still expect Riki to make a big move in the summer though.
