As a member and regular visitor to Barça games I think tonights game could be a blessing. Yes it would have been good to put one over them again in the semi finals , and we want to win every game we play - but our priorities lie elsewhere. Barça can now solely concentrated on the Chelsea 2nd leg instead of el derby. We can retain la liga and more importantly, get a repeat of the 1992 success. Having watched both sides I m confident that this team is the equal, if not better than el dream team . Visca el Barça!!!
Why is it that barca cant in recent
years cant seem to be eliminated from cups without there being unfair refreeing
or grave refereeing errors. i mean last year i nthe Champions league Colina
didnt call a clear foul on valdes that lead to chelsea's fourth goal. and this
year in the cup they were knocked out by two of the worst performance that i
have seen in history by a reff. if ronaldinho got a red for the foul he
commited then im shocked that not one of the zaragoza players recieved second
yellow. its annoying and suspicious. but there should be a rule that if an
official has such a bad match like that they repeat it.

OK, the referee was bad, but Barça have also had a lot of refereeing decisions going their way this season, so much so that for example the Madrid press are suggesting there is a conspiracy in their favour! You obviously can't repeat matches because of a bad decision - La Liga would never finish if you did that! As for it being a blessing or not, they can at least have a couple of week's rest before the Champions League starts. However sometimes a defeat like that eats in to moral, and it seems Barça's form has dropped off since they lost to Zaragoza.
