What an idiot Piterpan is. I thought Sunderland's chairman was bad for having 40 million pounds of debt but Piterman takes the mick. Before the season started he sacked a manager (can't remember his name) just for saying he thought Barca would win against Alaves, and now he has gone and sacked Oliva after taking Alaves off the bottom of the toble to 15th. When Cos was in charge they were awful. They couldn't even complete one pass but when Oliva was in charge they played like a top 5 team. I'm a season ticket holder now at Mendizorrotza and I'm completely baffled by this new twist in Piterman's era. Its a bit silly to say this but it seems that Piterman wants Alaves to get relegated.
We agree, it doesn't seem logical that he fires a manager who is finally getting them out of the drop zone. But Piterman owns the club now, and will have to take the final responsibility if things don't work out. At this rate though it does look like it will end in tears once again.
