Las Palmas moved to the top after beating Logroñes by a single goal, scored by Brazilian Renaldo. The result may not count however as Logroñes are very close to disappearing if a buyer cannot be found in the next few days. Salamanca are second, equal on 25 points with Las Palmas, after coming back from two goals down at Compostela. Extremadura were beaten 3-0 by Tenerife and drop to third.
