Miguel Angel Lotina's Celta top the table with three wins out of three after beating Recreativo 0-3 in Huelva. The newly promoted side were no match for the visitors in the end, and they are already struggling at the bottom of the table having lost their opening three matches.

For a while though the Andalucians matched their opponents, with José Mari and Raúl Molina both forcing Argentine international keeper Cavallero into action in the first half. But on the stroke of half time a loose ball fell to Mostovoi some 30 metres from the goal, and the Celta captain didn't think twice before blasting home an unstoppable shot into the top of the net.

The locals still had a chance to get back in the match after the break when the referee awarded them a penalty for a push by José Ignacio on Alex. However Cavallero guessed right and dived to stop Oscar Arpón's spot kick. A few minutes later it was Mostovoi again, leading by example, who was given too much time to control Velasco's cross and shoot wide of the outstretched César.

Substitute McCarthy made it three in injury time, again thanks in great part to Mostovoi, to sink the Andalucians completely. Somehow though their fans didn't seem to mind, and they went on singing right to the end. They are just happy to see teams like Celta at the New Colombino stadium. It could be some time before they get the chance again.
