Goals:
1-0. 92. Tuni. Cut in around Fernando Sanz to beat Arnau.

An injury time from substitute Tuni gave Mallorca a 1-0 win over Málaga, taking Gregorio Manzano's side up to eighth place. The manager used the occasion to try out his cup final side, missing only Samuel Eto'o who is on international duty with Cameroon but who will return for next Saturday's big event. However they were unable to break down a Málaga side who were missing four players through suspension and included four youngsters, and could have fallen behind had veteran defender Miguel Soler not cleared an effort from Canabal off the line with ten minutes to go. The introduction of young striker Tuni changed things though, and he rounded Fernando Sanz to beat Arnau for a late winner. Málaga manager Joaquín Peiró wasn't there to watch though as he was suffering from depression after being told his contract was not being renewed next season.
